   The complexities of today’s legal climate make it
necessary for attorneys to provide counsel within a
narrow field of practice.  Rand limits his legal practice to
areas in and around small business, particularly business
start-up, purchase or sale, and ongoing general counsel.  
These areas necessarily encompass matters such as
financing counsel, contract drafting and negotiation,
commercial leasing, and commercial real estate.  His
clientele range from individuals with small home based
businesses to medium sized companies.
   Rand is admitted to practice law in New York State
and is a member in good standing of the New York State
Bar Association.  He graduated cum laude from Syracuse
University College of Law.  He is the Past President of
the Board of Directors of the Greater Liverpool
Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the Board of
Directors of the Learning Disabilities Association of
Central New York and returning First Vice President of
the Agency, and was the Founding Chairman of the
Onondaga County Bar Association Pro Bono Advisory
Board.  In addition, Rand volunteers as a business
counselor for SCORE and is a workshop speaker for
SCORE and the Small Business Development Centers in
Onondaga and Oswego Counties.
    Rand attended law school at Syracuse University after
working for many years in retail operations management
and as a corporate management skills trainer.  After law
school, he began his legal career in a medium sized law
firm and from there joined Fay’s Incorporated as
Assistant General Counsel, before returning to private
practice in his own law firm.
